Rinaldo Reason rails to Northam victory
Brad Cook has trained a lot of winners at Burwood Park over the years. His kennel spearhead Ledaro Holly won 18 races over the 297m distance including a massive Trainer’s Incentive Scheme jackpot. Rinaldo Reason has been a modest performer at best in WA, since coming from country NSW. Today the son of Cape Hawke missed the kick over 297m and found himself sixth at the first turn. He dived down to the inside running rail and while a few in front of him wobbled wide around the tight turn he hugged the rail and burst to a strong victory. He hit the lead at the top of the straight before tearing away to win by 2.25 lengths. Rinaldo Reason has now won 5 of 51 for his owners Karl Hassan, Brad Cook and Victoria Beamish.
